OREAS 267

OREAS 267 was prepared from a high-grade gold ore pre-mix (sourced from the Agate Creek project in Queensland) blended with barren materials including basaltic scoria, Ettamogah sediment, and Tuscan sedimentary rock to achieve a matrix-matched CRM. The Agate Creek deposit is a classic example of epigenetic epithermal-style gold mineralisation hosted in volcanic rocks. The use of both oxide ore and various unmineralised lithologies ensures a realistic sample matrix consistent with exploration and resource evaluation contexts.

OREAS 267 has been characterized for gold, majors and traces using the following methods:

  • Gold by fire assay with AAS, ICP-OES or ICP-MS finish
  • Full ICP-OES and ICP-MS elemental suites by 4-acid (HNO3-HF-HClO4-HCl) digestion
  • Full ICP-OES and ICP-MS elemental suites by aqua regia digestion
  • Gold by aqua regia digestion
  • Gold by cyanide leach with ICP or AAS finish

Certified values for applicable analytes are operationally defined for each method, with results under OREAS ISO 17034 scope of accreditation.

Note: Analyte values are indicative only and may change when certified.
